Who am I?

  Who am I?

Everyone is seeking consciously or not. The search started when you were first born into this physical realm and you became aware that there were "Others". From that awareness arose the idea....if they are them... Who am I?

The problem is not that you stopped seeking but that you forgot the question. The question got covered up quickly as those around you, too did not know who they were and what they were seeking and taught you that you were seeking something of this world. So the search continued and you sought material things, status, relationships and health in order to fill a deep embeded longing to belong and find your true Self.

This search continued until one day you realized that nothing of this world can fill that hole you feel inside of you and you turn within.

So, here you are...turned within and ready to hear the answer to the question that was the driving force behind all your searches.

Who are you? You are YOU. You have searched your Self, not the self of your own making, but the real Self that truly IS when all else is stripped away from what you thought you were.

The real You never changes. If anything about you is subject to change....it is not YOU. Your body has changed over the years, you can change your mind (I do that all the time), your status is subject to change, what you feel and actually everything about you is in constant change.

And if you are not your mind...then nothing your mind can perceive is YOU either. You can not perceive something and be that which you perceive at the same time. The only thing that did not change through out your life is that you exsisted. It is the only thing you know for sure. This existence is YOU....I am.

Trying to find your true Self in terms of knowledge will fail uttery. Knowledge is of this world. To know your true Self you must be "it" and in this knowing you are known.
