Have you ever wondered why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? What seems unfair at first sight is actually in divine order once we understand the cause of these appearances.
First of all please know that there is no genie in the sky, nor a God that gives or takes away nor any law that is outside of us that creates our experience. We are the creators of our experience.
Jesus said: "Those that have will have more and those that have less the lesser will be taken away".
The belief of having or not having something creates the experience of it. If you want a new experience you have to move into the feeling of having that which you desire.
At my previous job, I had the opportunity to apply for a promotion. I wanted the job badly, but there were other candidates that were also applying for this position that were more qualified than I. I started to think what it would feel like to have that position. I started to act as if I already had it. I started to dress more professional, I bought a new car and was more accountable in all my action. I let go of the feeling of wanting it and moved into the feeling of having it and I got the promotion.
At one time, I wanted new wooden floors for my house but we had no money saved nor any money left over to save. Online I searched for pictures of the floor I wanted and set that picture as my background on my computer. Every time I got on my computer I would close my eyes briefly and imagined how it would feel to have those floors now. I was so excited. I no longer hated my stained carpet, but instead was excited to have new wooden floors. Within three weeks a large amount of money appeared and the floors were installed.
My husband and I separated for about one and a half years. Then one day my husband said he wanted the divorce. I was devastated. Against all odds of us ever getting back together and even after getting the divorce, I started to remember a time where we were happy and in love. I stopped crying and felt more and more at peace and even though I had very little contact my husband moved back home three months after our divorce.
So, what is it that you want to experience? A new car? A new house? a job? A raise? Or is it peace? Or success? Or even happiness? Imagine yourself having what you want already. The key is to know what you want and to move away from wanting into the feeling of having. And so be it.
